This is very much!

I'm an electrical engineer and audiophile, so I was willing to take a hard look at this headphone amp. But, you know what? He exceeded all my expectations! It's pretty compact. About the size of two packs of cigarettes side by side. You can put it almost anywhere, it is also well made. Not only physically (nice metal case with rubber feet on the bottom to avoid scratches) but also electrically. I plugged in a few different audio sources and it got quiet. No noticeable noise at all. No hiss, no hum. You only get sound and nothing else. And I didn't even feed him anything special. Just a UL/CE certified USB wall wart as suggested by the manufacturer. I used professional headphones to monitor the output. The sound was clear at all volume levels, from the lowest to the highest. Excellent! Another feature might not be so obvious. You can control the output sound level AND the input sound level. Most of these devices only allow you to control the volume of the output audio. There is no "master" volume control to raise or lower the input signal level. Thus, this amplifier is suitable for a variety of sound sources. For example, I've tried this with an electric guitar (low output) and a phone at maximum volume (high output). It does not matter. This little amp has taken care of everything. And if your phone isn't pumping your headphones to the level you want, brace yourself because this booster will make it to the end and knock your socks off! Nothing more to say. This is one of the few devices that really does exactly what you need it to. You can connect any Micro USB 5V power adapter and it will indicate the presence of power with a glowing LED next to the input jack. No stupid power button to activate. When you plug it in, it's on. You can share audio output from your phone (e.g. Spotify), computer, guitar, etc. with up to four friends or band members, and each of them can have their own volume control. Why spend $100 or $200 on one of these headphone amps? made for audiophiles, when can you get something this good for much less?
