Review on LG 27UK650-W Monitor: FreeSync Technology, 4K Ultra HD, Tilt & Height Adjustment, Anti-Glare IPS Screen by Herbie Sheppard

Setting: XBOX 1X: 4k, HDR and variable refresh rate are enabled in the settings menu. Monitor: HDR Standard enabled or HDR Game enabled, Freesync Extended enabled. Situation: Before: BenQ RL2755 1080P monitor. and Modern Warfare showed a DRAMATIC difference in color and image quality. Everything is very clear and I can't detect any processing related lag. Every 1v1 fight I've been in has been fair and I've never felt like they have the edge. According to various speed tests I have 8-12ms ping from my system and I think this makes the biggest difference in time sensitive FPS games. The halo looked amazing and sometimes I was devastated because I looked at the landscape and it looked amazing. It's amazing how a nearly 20 year old game can look so good. But COD MW looks amazing in multiplayer. I FAST received a ROG SWIFT PG27UQ monitor ($1300) but returned it immediately because on an XBOX 1X exclusive setup you're wasting money on features you won't be using. GSYNC vs. FREESYNC, gaming with HDR 10 vs. 1000 and I knew a bloody monitor fan was going to bug me. The LG monitor looks AWESOME and has a very smooth and intuitive interface when navigating the menus and has no fan. Anyway, a well designed and perfect looking display. Now the question is, do I want to take the plunge, void the warranty, remove the anti-glare film from the screen and replace the photodon MXO crystal screen film to make it even clearer?
