Review on AOC C27G2Z Frameless Ultra Fast Adjustable 1920X1080P ๐ŸŽฎ Gaming Monitor Curved - Enhanced Features for Optimal Gaming Experience by Melvin Bibbs

Revainrating 3 out of 5

(1 day use and ownership, update coming later) 24 " Curved (C24G1A) **UPDATED**

(I haven't seen many reviews of the AOC 24" Curved Gaming Monitor, Model: C24G1A, so I wanted to share it) (In my photo, the AOC monitor is in the middle) with a cheap HP 24-inch monitor (240 Vha) which was the #1 bestseller on Revain for a while. I don't have a lot of money but wanted to upgrade to a higher refresh rate monitor and see if that really makes a difference. I mostly have NBA 2k21 (and played some GTA V) I own this monitor and have been using it for 1 day and I'll try to remind myself to come back and update it in the future Contrast and Brightness I've turned the brightness all the way down and it's always still too bright for my eyes but maybe I'll adjust with time. This is indeed a 165mhz monitor. It can handle those refresh rates and I haven't had any issues with ghosting, motion blur, dead pixels or anything r power supply problems. For most casual gamers, this is a great monitor if you can't afford a "bigger brand" (but in some cases you're just paying too much for a name when the products are pretty much the same). If you're an esports pro or you play games for a living, this monitor might not be for you. This is the only monitor I've had that's 165 or 144MHz so I don't have anything to compare it to but for my first gaming monitor this is a damn good buy for the price. I must have caught it on sale because the price went up $23 in 4-5 days. I only paid $144 (and yes, it's new, not renovated). For less than $150

Pros
  • 227.4 x 612.37 x 528.6 inches
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks.
