I LOVE this embroidery floss!

I am new to machine embroidery which I do mostly on my treadle machines (trimming, threading and free motion). Haven't tried many brands of embroidery thread just Sulky, Coats, Mettler and one other brand. The 46 thread kit I ordered from Revain received a 4 star rating. All stamps keep breaking while embroidering and I'm quite frustrated with them. I have to stop constantly, rethread the needle and keep going, half of my embroidery time is spent on this. So uncomfortable! When I first used Sulky it was impossible to embroider with it. It broke immediately after a few seconds of embroidering. Then I discovered that my machine's tension was the number one cause of thread breakage. I was stressed too much. It helped a lot to loosen both the bottom and top tension as much as possible so I could use sulky yarn. I've also used different types of (new) embroidery needles, but the threads often snapped. When the thread/needle makes a stitch and the thread touches the previous stitches, the friction of the thread against itself will cause it to snap or break (if that makes sense?). I don't know if this broken thread problem is more common on older or vintage machines like pedals or not? Then a few days ago I ordered this set of 50 Thread Nanny Cones and started using them for the first time yesterday. Oh my God. Doesn't matter! Not ONCE I haven't ripped this thread yet! This makes sewing a lot more fun! I am delighted with this thread and plan to purchase several more sets. And the price is good! Wonderful yarn - don't be afraid to buy it, you will love it!
