I ordered this for my 10 year old son to play soccer. It was his third year in tackle football and we had changed a lot of mouthguards before that. He needs 2-3 mouthguards a year because we buy gel mouthguards which require boiling water for their teeth. The issues he had was that over time he was either chewing on the gel or the area where the guard attaches to the strap broke. All these problems have been solved with this protection. Without cooking. Too strong to chew. Durable strap and strap attachment. And he says he likes how he can breathe better with this guard. He also looks pretty cool. As tough as a 60 pound fifth grader can look.
