The scale is not entirely accurate. I watch my figure, weigh myself on the scales and weigh myself regularly. When I first got on the scale at the same time of day as usual in my normal clothes, I gained 4 pounds. I figured this can't be, I didn't do anything to get that high. So I got back up and immediately lost 4 pounds. Every time I weigh them for the first time, I weigh them again and they go down. I bought the scale because it had good reviews, my scale didn't live up to those reviews. FOLLOW UP. After my review, I got a response from EatSmart products and they told me how to fix it, now it works GREAT! If anyone has a similar issue, I was told here to reset my scale. 1. Remove the battery from the scale.2. Place the scale on the floor (no carpet) without the battery.3. Stand on the scale for 10 seconds (still without battery).4. Carefully replace the battery without pressing any buttons or activating the scale.5. Place the scale on the floor (not a carpet) with the battery installed.6. Touch the scale with just one foot or press down just enough to turn on the display. REMOVE THE LEG IMMEDIATELY. (Hyphens or zeros must appear)7. Let the scale turn off.8. Step on the scale to find out the weight
