I have two Panasonic cordless phones that are probably 12 years old. As far as I remember, the original box said the phone can work for 5 days without charging. Batteries show "memory problems" after a few years and die after 2 or 3 days or an hour or so of talking. This is my third or fourth battery change. From what I remember the last one from Walmart was about $18 and probably lasted 3 years. It was also too big for a phone. I had to use a screwdriver to pry it out when I replaced it with this one. This appears to be about the size of the original hardware and just fits right in. After a cursory test I conclude that it lasts at least 3 days and appears to be fully functional. I don't know of any way to test a battery's tendency to develop "memory problems" if it's not used for a few years, but at this price I can afford to swap it out more often and still come out on top .
