This thing (choose a word for "junk") destroyed my 3.5-6TB hard drive. I took my drive out of a running machine (server) and plugged it into my laptop to create a system image (using the external power supply provided). The laptop showed the device was repeatedly connected and disconnected, 6TB. After a few minutes, I decided it was better not to use the device and order an external case from a well-known brand. I reconnected it to the server it was originally connected to and now it shows as 'offline', can't bring it online or use diskpart in a power shell to troubleshoot (the controller card was destroyed! ). 6 TB hard drives are not cheap! Now it's a paperweight!
