Review on Geekstory VK-162 G-Mouse USB GPS Dongle: Reliable Remote Mount Navigation Module with External GPS Antenna for Raspberry Pi, Google Earth, Windows, and Linux by John Holliday

Revainrating 5 out of 5

5 stars when used with my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B

This GPS module just works. Surprises, no problem. Plug the device into an available USB port on your Pi, run "sudo apt-get install gpsd" to install the Pi's basic GPS tools, and you're done (EDIT: See Oscar Blanco's review for a more complete one instructions.) The device acquires satellites quickly, even indoors in my apartment. I'm building this Pi to be as versatile as possible and one thing I wanted to do was run the Navit car navigation software. , with maps from OpenStreetMap. This small GPS module works perfectly as you can see in the picture. Nothing bad, preliminary or disturbing to say about this device. Great addition to my Pi.
