I have no idea how I found this item or why I bought it. When I received it it looked like a slinky that no longer works. Out of boredom I used it as a sponge substitute and WOW. While in the south the sponge at your sink goes dark for 3 days, this sponge never goes dark (!). Even better, while the sponge gets cleaner but never cleaned in the dishwasher, it gets clean. They are porous and are therefore ideal for washing in hot water or in the dishwasher. In terms of cleaning, they have a rough texture, so they're not a complete replacement for sponges, but they can fulfill that role as dishwashing detergents. They also clean the sink well. In any case, after use, only use very hot water and they will be 100% recovered.
