Review on AmazonCommercial Fluted Style Glass Pitcher by Jonathan Jensen

The set looks nice but I expected them to be ridged on the outside only to find they are ridged on the inside (a potential pain in washing as I dishwasher alone ) and smooth on the outside. I've read conflicting reviews with reviewers saying it's serrated on the outside (and therefore holding it better) while others say it's serrated on the inside as shown in the photos. Are there 2 variants? This should be stated in the description and there doesn't seem to be a way to ask a question about this product. Otherwise, I noticed a strange defect in at least one of the glasses. I love the look and weight of the set so I'm still undecided on whether to keep it or return it.
