I needed a fuel pump ring tool for my Jaguar X-Type (2006 Wagon). I guessed the size needed and this Mercedes tool fits very well. The tabs on the Jaguar fuel pump ring align exactly with the slots in the bracket. The tool is exceptionally well made, feels solid and the grooves are precisely formed. My Jaguar repair manual says 52 ft-lbs for the fuel pump ring. I replaced the rings and gasket with factory parts and torqued the fuel pump ring to the correct torque with no slippage or issues. 52 ft-lbs is a lot of torque. Internet forums suggest you can use a hammer and chisel to tighten the ring. This will definitely break the grommets on the ring. This tool grabs all the combs and I think it's essential to get the job done. I am very happy!
