Beautiful collar. Works perfectly. She has a very long range which is very important because Annie could run around the neighborhood chasing people, cars and cats when I first took her. It's good to have 2 vinyl collars because I wasn't tight enough on the first one and my dog bit it. in. I was very thankful it was vinyl because it got stuck in her jaw. She lost her rubber caps, but then again, it's my fault. However, this does not affect the function of the box. I'm not sure about the battery life on other boxes, but since this one flashes green to let you know it's on, it looks like I'll need to charge it more often than I thought. Loads fast. The two-channel remote control is handy because when I change collars, I only change the channel on the remote control. I carry an extra box (turned off) in my purse in case the 1st box she carries runs out of battery, she forgot to charge it. I ordered the 2nd set of bk, lost the remote when moving. I only use this for 1 dog it would be perfect for 2 because the remote control is so easy to use. About the waterproofness I did not give a rating, I have not found out yet. Rschunimagu.
