A few years ago I tried another generic printer with terrible results. Every time I wanted to print something, I had to turn the printer off and on again and deal with "incompatible" cartridge warnings. Because of the huge cost savings and generally good reviews, I decided to give them another try. I don't print much now, so I can only talk about my first experiences. After a little hiccup overcoming the incompatible warnings, everything worked without any issues. Didn't notice any difference in print quality. Although I've only printed about 6 or 7 pages in the last week, I haven't had any problems. Also, the company responded to a question I asked almost immediately, which further convinced me that the positive customer service reviews were valid.
