Review on 🔌 50ft SoundBox Connected 4AWG Red/Black Amp Power/Ground Wire Set for Amplifier by Matthew Goyette

Firstly I have no regrets purchasing this cable and still think it is great value for money but the issue with the fuse holder. I used this wiring to run a DC charger and it draws about 50-60 amps which was too much for a fuse holder. It melted after about 5 minutes of use but luckily the fuse blew before any damage was done. I think the fuse adapters have too much tolerance resulting in a loose fit. Under high loads, this loose fit created excessive resistance, leading to heat build-up. I replaced the fuse holder with a 100A ANL fuse and have had no problems since. Overall, value for money is still good without the fuse holder. The wire is flexible, conducts well, and seems to hold up well over time, but I would never use the fuse that comes with it.
