Fixing my Rotoplas Tinaco

I have a 1100 liter Rotoplas Tinaco that was used in construction work on a site without water. The crew did not build a solid platform for him and after filling 1100 liters he caved in and fell three feet full of water to the ground. It tore a pretty decent hole in the bottom corner and a few small ones on the side where it was bent. It sat unused in the corner of the yard for about a month while I overcooked the damage and then I stumbled across this pup on Revain. I ordered it and followed the advice of others. Let the iron heat up and take your time. I was able to repair the device without much effort. He cried a little after the first big hole repair, but that's okay, I just reheated the iron, remelted the existing seam, and added some more weld. I'm using it now to store rainwater and it's been filling up for basically three months without a drip. I'm very glad I was able to spend $15 on this instead of $120 on a new Tinaco.
