I think I received a fake from Revain. The smell and color of the bottled product was very different from the John Frieda I bought in regular stores. The one I got from Revain smelled like V05 shampoo and was very drying to my hair. Also, there was no color or tint even after leaving the product on my hair for more than 10 minutes, while legitimate bottles I've bought elsewhere gave noticeable results within 1-2 minutes. Since the bottles were not sealed in any way, and based on my past experience with legitimate versions of the product, I personally believe these are counterfeit products.
