What made this a no-brainer for me was the advertised lumens (400), the fact that it's a plug-in so I don't have to deal with the batteries and why they are necessary. and that it is small and easy to assemble. After reading all the reviews I was a bit hesitant before purchasing due to the claimed breakage of the mounting clip but figured I could always use duct tape. The trick with the brackets is not to over tighten the screw that goes through the center of the bracket and into the mounting surface. Of course, there's a reasonable chance they'll break if overtightened, but you have to be careful how you move because they line up perfectly when light is pressed gently on them. Great bright lighting for my closet, simple. EASY to assemble, no problem with rechargeable, long enough cord (5ft) for me, I'm glad I decided to purchase this light. A NOTICE.
