Review on πŸ” QLUUE 4 in 1 Stud Finder Wall Scanner: Accurate Detection for Wood/Metal/Stud/AC Wire/Pipe, with Depth Display, LCD Screen, and Audio Alarm by Phillip Johnson

Seems very accurate and easy to use.

I have a Zircon HD900 scanner which has very good accuracy by comparison. I tested it on a wall that is unfinished on one side to check accuracy and it was spot on. There's also a light switch on that wall that switches from one post to the other, so there's romex wiring traversing the drywall that's not attached to anything. With this scanner I was able to get a good idea of where this wiring ran and which side of the wall stud it was attached to. In comparison, I like that Zircon has arrows that tell you if you're left or right of center. Instead, this device has green, amber, and red LEDs to let you know you're open (green), approaching an object (amber), and red (over an object). These LEDs work in conjunction with a signal strength bar graph on the right. The system appears to be working very well, also there is a small circle with a crosshair icon in the center of the hairpin, the crosshair will appear in a circle as long as you hold the Follow instructions and let the sensor calibrate what you are scanning this thing seems very impressed.
