Review on TRANSformation Blurring Perfecting Brightening Brightened by Jill Lee

The price is the same as buying it separately, so I only recommend the set if you want to keep the egg

In general, I find the packaging superfluous. The idea is cute, but they could make the egg smaller and still work. That seems more practical to me. The products work well. I like the corrector formula, as long as I apply a very thin layer it looks smooth. When I use a thinner layer it looks dry and sticky. So you need to find the perfect amount. It smudges easily. I like that it doesn't need to be set before applying concealer. It builds up and doesn't move all day! If it was a lighter mint green I would definitely buy it if I ran out. But since it isn't, I won't be buying it once it's gone (I'm showing a photo comparing the lighter mint green I prefer to this green color corrector). But if you like the usual green color corrector, then this one will suit you. The powder is nice. It's not my favorite powder and I won't buy it if I run out. But if pink or yellow powders are your thing, this is a lovely liquid formula that is non-powdery to the touch, smooth to the touch and wears well. At the time of writing this review, this set retails for $55. The color corrector itself is $25 and the powder is $35. So you're not making a deal by bringing them together. This is the same price as purchasing individually. I would recommend this set if you are a Nikita Dragoon fan and/or want to keep the Dragon Egg. Other than that, I feel like "DragunEgg" is just pointless and seems like just getting them separately (much less cumbersome packaging) would be better. They come in a fairly large box. I was not expecting that! Guess I would have expected "DragunEgg" to be smaller. Anyway, when you open the box, you see a small piece of cardboard with a hole through which you can see the "Dragoon Egg" (see photo). Once you pull it out, the dragoon egg is in purple paper. Like I said, the "Dragon Egg" was way bigger than I expected! The dragoon egg splits in half. There is a piece of tape on the bottom of the egg holding the two pieces together, but you can easily remove it if you'd like. When you open the DragunEgg you will see that each side has a velvet pad with a hole to match the product: one side has a hole to match the color corrector and the other side has a hole to match the powder. Like I said, I was surprised at how big the box and dragoon were. Then, when I opened the egg and saw that the products took up very little space, I thought the packaging was superfluous as hell! It's a cute idea and fits the brand and theme of the brand. But I feel like they could have made the egg a lot smaller, still put both products in it and just didn't need such a big box and everything. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I would prefer it smaller. It's cute, but the idea of keeping him around when he's that big doesn't seem very practical to me. If it were smaller, it would be wiser to leave it. Each product has its own outer packaging, which is nice. I chose the green corrector. I have hormonal acne and redness on different parts of my face, so a green corrector comes in handy for me. I have dark circles under my eyes and I've always heard they use a peach/orange/red corrector for dark circles under my eyes. I tried the Dragun Beauty "Orange" color corrector when I got it in a beauty box (it's called "Orange" but I think it's more of a dark orange). Then Nikita Dragun said that this is a universal color and will suit everyone🤨 I knew that such a color could not be on my fair skin! But there have been other fair-skinned "influencers" like me who have used it and been amazed at how well it works. 🤔So. Tried on under the eyes and SURPRISE. Didn't work on my fair skin. I ended up using 3x the amount of concealer I normally use to ONLY cover the dark orange concealer! So of course I don't trust any of those "influencers" who raved about using this on their fair skin anymore 😒 I'm sure many of us have dabbled in this before 😂 On my fair skin I've tried color correctors for peach and light orange. None of them seemed to help hide the dark circles under my eyes. Then I took a very close look at my eyes and noticed that most dark tones don't have any purple/blue/black tones. They were red - dark red, bright red and a little brownish red. Then I thought maybe that's why the peach and orange correctors weren't working. Peach and orange correctors are used to eliminate blue and purple tones. Green correctors are used to suppress red tones. So I tried green correctors. They definitely worked better than peach and orange, but sometimes I still used more concealer than I wanted to cover up the shade of green. Finally, I tried a green concealer that looked more like mint green than pure green. It worked great! When I saw the green Dragun Beauty concealer, it struck me as more like mint, so I decided to give it a try. It seems to be exactly the mint green I want, but when I tested it it was definitely darker than the green I wanted (one photo shows a sample of the light mint green I'm comparing next to this green corrector). It's too pigmented for my light skin and needs too much concealer to hide the green tint. Even if I use a SMALL amount it's still too pigmented. I like the formula. It blends easily and doesn't feel dry or sticky. Otherwise, as long as you use a THIN layer, it will look dry and sticky! To make it work for me, I apply a SMALL dot of this green concealer to the very corner of my eye where the redness is most intense, then apply a tiny dot of the white concealer and the two together are perfect. It gives me the lighter mint green color I want, but it still gives me complete elimination of my redness without looking dry or sticky. It also sets itself so I don't have to apply powder to make sure it doesn't move when I apply concealer so that's great! And I only need a small amount of concealer afterwards. It's not my favorite green concealer I've tried just because the color isn't bright enough for me, but I'm glad I found a way to make it work for me so it doesn't go to waste. Like I said, the formula is good. If it was a lighter mint green I would buy it as soon as I ran out. But since it's not the light green color I want, I won't buy it if it runs out. But if you like the usual green color corrector, this one is perfect. I'm showing a photo of a small dot of this color corrector blended with my finger and next to it I've applied the corrector with an applicator so you can see the color. The powder is nice. It looks like cardboard but feels nice and durable. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all. Has a magnetic closure. The lid has a decent mirror. Even small amounts of both work together to brighten areas. The colors go well with my fair skin. I'm not sure how they are universal? If I only use pink I have to be careful not to use too much or it will look dark to me. If I use just a small amount of either or both powders together I don't even notice the color, they're kind of translucent so I think they're versatile. But it would be nice if the brand released other powder colors, even if it's translucent (actually translucent, not seemingly translucent if you just use a little 😂). It's definitely not my favorite powder and I won't buy it when it's gone, but I like it enough to use it up.
