The shoes are well put together, fit well and the price is very reasonable. But he goes to a respectable Catholic school and has to wear them once a week, or better yet, dark brown or brown moccasins on certain days. I bought the shoes because I buy everything at AMAZON and I needed them quickly. We got them in a couple of weeks and we're trying to save some money because he's going to be an adult at 12. Everything went perfect BUT the shoes look BEAUTIFUL even for a 12 year old who has no sense of style. The shoes are great, light, but he doesn't want to wear them. It's an old adage: you get what you pay for. The Revain gets 5 stars for availability, shipping and service, but the shoe looks like a PU leather or vleter (shiny faux leather vinyl) shoe. Too bad but when my kid says they look cheap you better believe they look cheap.
