My dogs got sick after we moved into our new home. There are a lot of weeds on the lawn and we assume that caused our dogs to vomit (they kept eating the grass). Every time they vomited, we sprayed it on the vomit and soaked up as much as we could with a paper towel. We then clean the carpet with a vacuum cleaner. The combination worked great for removing stains and odors from carpet. It worked well. Haven't used the urine solution yet so can't comment on that. Update: My niece and nephew were in town and peed on the mattress. I've only tried baking soda and vinegar but that didn't completely remove the stain and smell. Then I finally sprayed it and then put baking soda on it, let it sit overnight and it worked fine. After it dried I used Bissell Carpet Shampoo (hand piece) and scrubbed the mattress. Using all of this worked well. Resolve immediately removes the odor. A carpet cleaning hose helped remove the stain. I also always use a carpet cleaner for grout and vomit stains. The solution also removed the spilled wine stain (but I got to it right after the stain).
