I bought this pan to replace my ceramic coated pan which has seen better days. It's significantly smaller than other pans I've bought, but that's not necessarily a disadvantage unless you're feeding a lot of people. My biggest problem with this is that it doesn't heat up evenly. The end next to the controller heats up much faster and is MUCH hotter than the opposite end. So my bacon burns near the controller and barely cooks at the other end. Other issues: The rim around the pan is very flat, so you have to be careful not to collect fat. Since the pan is very small, the bacon bristles fill the entire surface and the fat cannot seep through the fried food. The grease tray is so tiny it's practically useless. So if you're not careful and empty it frequently, it'll just spill onto the counter. This is a VERY frustrating mess. The only reason I gave it so many stars is so they don't joke about it not sticking. Nothing sticks to this baby! I've only used it a few times but the finish is super smooth.
