After a somewhat awkward and superficial start to the transaction (apparently stock was delayed and my order was canceled without notice), the product actually arrived and looks fantastic. (see photo) It's synthetic but doesn't look cheap. It fits snugly on the handlebars of my '01/X5. The price is good as at this point I really wasn't interested in paying twice the price for a skintight leather WHEELSKIN even though they look and feel better. Then I have to install it myself, right, or spend $150 to have it done professionally. This does a great job of covering up a series of cracks on the top of the steering wheel just below the red/blue stripes. It was uncomfortable to feel these cracks while driving and now I don't feel them anymore. It's also handy enough that it doesn't seem to slip out of motion during use. Good buy.
