Review on Redmond Waterproof Hiking Shoe for Unisex-Children by Columbia by Kevin Woods

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Only the shoes worn by son

The shoes are very durable, fairly waterproof, he's hiked several miles and hasn't hurt his feet. Of course, if they are completely submerged in water, they will get wet. We bought several of these shoes and the only thing I had trouble with was keeping the shape of the shoe. If your child, like mine, just takes off their shoes without unlacing them, they tend to lose their shape and aren't as supportive, but as long as they're tied and tightened properly, it's fine. They are true to size, they may seem a bit baggy, but you definitely need some room for toe and leg swelling on long hikes.
