I have cleaned my 20 year old cedar deck of stains by swapping out the boards at various times over the years. This is a very large deck. I've been chewing through the hard back and the older mid-size back because the boards are different heights, the screws tear things, and the surface has uneven wear. I went through 30 sanding wheels to make half of the deck. It was cruel. I then ordered a hard pad along with two packs of these pillows. Doesn't matter! It only took me 5 discs and half the time to complete it. It's much better and cheaper to spend a few of these on your complex projects than to buy an original Bosch pad. I've also used them to remove the bark and sculpt some slabs with live edges. cat meows. A warning. These are very sticky. It can be difficult to remove the first discs. But that's a much better deal than the lack of a stick pad throwing discs around the deck.
