I bought this primarily to replace a Bravo Audio hybrid tube headphone amp that was missing bass and treble controls and to pair with my Sennheiser HD600. I also configured this to set up 2.1 speakers with: (1) Sony SA-CS9 9.84" subwoofer (subwoofer crossover) (2) two 4" Pyle PCB4WT speakers connected to the Sony subwoofer speaker output are connected. Source: Cambridge XS USB dac and built-in Bluetooth amplifier. Conclusion: thumbs up. The amp appears to be well assembled. The switches and knobs feel solid. The volume knob even has latches. No cracking when adjusting the bass, treble and volume controls. Silence at maximum volume with RCA or Bluetooth. BT connects easily and works well up to 10 feet away. How it sounds "Pyle speakers come to life with this tube amp. With some treble control it sounds brighter and fuller. The low frequencies of the Sony subwoofer (with an 80 Hz crossover and a third-octave power stage) sound almost right. No distortion or clipping when the amp's bass control is set to maximum. No complaints about headphones when listening to the Sennheiser HD 600. It was quite loud at 1/3 volume. Accurate and non-tiring listening to various genres from EDM to jazz.
