I wanted to be very cheap but I also wanted a small projector. When I first tried this, I was surprised at how poor the image quality was. Your screen is best viewed with a wall projection no more than 1.5 feet in overall length and height (smaller than a tiny mini TV). If you reset or enlarge the screen, it becomes blurry. Connecting to my Raspberry Pi, phone, or computer is far from easy, and it seems that successfully connecting a device was a fluke. It's not really a functional device, even as a cheap projector. . Spend money to get higher quality, it's worth it.
