First of all I don't know how to rate the suction power because it depends on your vacuum cleaner and not on this article so I thought. Second, I didn't need a flexible hose for my dryer because you don't get far, so a detachable rigid hose would have sufficed. I was pleased with the accuracy of the work done. Haven't done the outside ventilation yet because it's raining but I expect it will do the job, especially since my vacuum is pretty good! *chuckle* Other uses I found the solid hose to be perfect under my washer and dryer, so I've been happy to vacuum a ton of stuff that's gotten in there over the last 4 years. He obviously didn't make it to the wall, but he was glad to get what he could!
