I'm an amateur but the Nikon B600 gives me what I want. 1) The sunset photo (over Granite Mountain, Arizona) was taken simply by rotating the camera, which enhanced the light and removed any glare. 2) Pronghorn photo taken without a tripod in auto mode from over 100 meters. [Easy!] 3) Mingus Moon, again in auto mode without a tripod. 4) This car in Lonesome Valley, AZ was filmed by simply flushing the color bar to zero. 5) "Jester" was the third shot I took with the camera with the manual on my lap. Again, this was in automatic mode, not "macro". 6) This photo was taken without a tripod but in macro mode. Note the tiny spikes on the lower kidney. 7) This last shot was taken at a distance of 12 feet with slight zoom. For a photographer like me, that's all I need. For a true professional, this can be appreciated for its quick simplicity. By the way, I easily found an extra battery on the Revain, and the battery stays in the camera when charging. Overall definitely 5 stars.
