Review on Makita 742040 4 Inch Abrasive 5 Pack by Robert Blanton

I like the grinding wheels, but I won't write about them. On the last order I bought grinding wheels for my pair of the lightest Makita grinders, very thin tools. I made the order as carefully as possible, but still got discs with a central hole 7/8. I gave these to my son who has a heavier grinder, these grinders all have a 7/8 center hole/spindle. My grinder has a 5/8 center hole/spindle. This is one of the most important things a buyer should know. Why the author of these ads does not provide this information is beyond me. I'll look for discs with a 5/8 center hole, but I'll see if you've figured out your mistake and fixed the problem. I would add that you would sell a lot more product if you structured the ad with all the washers, baseplates, mounting nuts etc from devices with a 5/8 or 7/8 center hole rather than mixing the two together. A 7/8 gear is useless with a 5/8 tool.
