I'm a pair of old (2014) Dell monitors with VGA and DVI inputs - a new (2018) Dell PC with a pair Display ports and a video output VGA. So how do I connect for a dual monitor configuration? These DisplayPort to DVI converter cables are just the thing to make it possible without bulky built-in cable converters. It couldn't be easier to plug and play with, and I can easily reach the monitor's maximum display settings of 1920x1200. Before you buy, remember that they are not bi-directional, which means they must come from the computer's display port. Connects to the DVI connector on the monitor. Not the other way around as I read some of the reviews that people complained about.
