Review on Cuisinart SS-700 Single Serve Coffee Maker, Silver NO LONGER PRODUCED BY MANUFACTURER by Jessica Brown

When my Keurig Platinum K70 broke after 3.5 years I wanted to buy it again but Keurig switched to their newer models which use decanters and only "real" K - accept cups. The old K-Cup doesn't work with their new 2.0 systems and they don't have a reusable K-Cup to brew their own ground coffee. I didn't feel like it, so I searched eBay and other places for my old Keurig device. What a shock. Everyone must love the old models because the price was double ($400-$500) what I paid when I got mine. So I went looking for something different and found the Cuisinart SS-700. What a surprise as it has all the features of my older Keurig model. It has everything: 5 brew sizes, slide-out rack for large cups, adjustable H2O temperature, reusable K-cup for your own ground coffee, ability to use old K-cups, same menu items and controls, same screen. Anyone who has used a previous Keurig model will feel right at home with this device. The differences are small. Also brews and behaves like my old Keurig in operation - I'm a happy camper.
