New mechanics make this product better than the previous one

Firstly I have had both versions of this product. The earlier version is known to have had various mechanical problems; including pump failure, clogging etc. I threw it away a while ago. I recently bought a new SS-700 because I really missed the convenience. What I can say is that the new models are different; They have different internal mechanisms and it works great. The older model had a unique "groan" when working; newer models have a cleaner shaking sound when processing water. Here's how…

Very nervous about ordering the SS-700 but we love it!

I have to admit that with all the complaints and bad reviews I was really nervous about ordering this machine. But I threw caution to the wind and ordered anyway. Since Revain has a great returns policy, that made my decision a little easier. The SS-700 arrived and I immediately unpacked it. I followed all of the installation instructions letter for letter, with one exception. I filled one tank with about 1 cup of white vinegar and then three tanks with clean water. Then I launched my first…

Be scared. in coffee machines

I really wanted to love that. This is the only K-Cup brewery that doesn't look terribly ugly. I read the reviews and was warned, but took the risk of buying an updated model. The second time I went to make a cup of coffee, it didn't deliver anything, but turning it off and on cured it. A few days later, it worked most of the time, but only seemed to make one one-size cup, about 6 ounces, no matter what the settings were on. Finally, today we traced the source of a puddle of water on a…

Best replacement for your Keurig

When my Keurig Platinum K70 broke after 3.5 years I wanted to buy it again but Keurig switched to their newer models which use decanters and only "real" K - accept cups. The old K-Cup doesn't work with their new 2.0 systems and they don't have a reusable K-Cup to brew their own ground coffee. I didn't feel like it, so I searched eBay and other places for my old Keurig device. What a shock. Everyone must love the old models because the price was double ($400-$500) what I paid when I got mine. So

The unit probably failed before shipment and was never repaired.

This item is listed as Certified Refurbished. No, that is not so. I recently bought it from another seller and it was also in poor condition. Prior to purchasing this unit I emailed the seller asking if it was listed as 'new' and the seller replied that it had not been used since the factory refurbishment. This second unit failed immediately upon receipt and the failure mode is similar to most Keurig machines. A valve in the water line wears out from the water supply, and when pressure is…

Great for us! suitable for making coffee, tea and espresso

When we first tried to turn on the machine water flowed out of the rear overflow pipe or something and flowed back into the reservoir while nothing was in the cup was not expired. He did it over and over again, my wife was willing to go with him but I figured he just needed to be refueled. I must have run the brew, hot water and rinse cycles more than 10 times and even started pinching the overflow pipe in the back to direct the water to the front. It worked out in the end and it's been going…

  • Everything ok

I give Cuisinart Keurig five stars but before you take it at face value please read on. When I opened this device I was SO excited. I've never owned a Keurig and this device promised to give me access to every cup I could use and make everything really easy. <3 <3 <3 I was in love. In the beginning it was cool. No problem, but I noticed a leak on my gauge behind the unit. Then everything started to go sideways for me. Suddenly, Keurig stopped making coffee, made a lot of horrible…
