Pros: We love this little clock radio we got from Revain.com! 1. He sets the time himself. You need to set your time zone. How difficult is it? Not hard. 2. Two alarms. (Handles on both sides) 3. It has a backup battery. 4. It fits on our bedside table, leaving room for our phone, lamp, key box and notepad. 5. It can pull MANY radio stations very clearly. We hear it from one end of the house to the other. (Ranchhaus) Below is a ruler and marker that will show you which station is closest. 6. It has a clear green time display, I can read it from across the room and I need glasses, but not with this display. Much better than our old RED segment display we had at Radio Shack Cons: The only thing I'm concerned about is the SOP of the alarm settings. You turn the large knob clockwise or counterclockwise to set your wake up/wake up time. It's great except I'm worried about our 2 year old walking in and conveniently turning back the large knob on either side and resetting the alarm time to an unwanted time. So! If you have small hands that can turn knobs, check your alarm clock for the right time before bed. A button in addition to the button to set the alarm would be more convincing as to what time the alarm is set/set. We're getting used to the SOP. If I were designing an HF marker I would use the large display to read the frequency when you turn the station knob just like it shows the alarm time when you turn the knob on the side. Who needs to know or see After installing the radio. The ruler is so small that I don't notice it for several days. I suspect the front is too busy to notice there is a line/manufacturer for radios. I looked up the time and AM or PM and which alarm should go off. Then! I looked for a transcript (for you to read) when I set up the radio. It doesn't happen, I assumed it was like old transistor radios. Guess the PO Galley! Will. . .even with a ruler/maker it's still guess by galley. The Ruler is just telling me which end of the spectrum I am on. TRUE! We didn't buy this stripped down little bug for HI FY stereo operation. I just wanted basic listening for sleep and a basic alarm, not a rattling or rocking speaker to wake up to! I would give this shortened little bug all the stars except for the buttons that set the alarm and the very busy front panel that hides the radio bar. I'm used to a two-handed alarm clock. This is normal and if you only had one hand it would be holding your cup of tea or coffee in the other hand while setting the time!
