I bought two of these to use the 1-2 and 3-4 shift solenoids on a 4L60e in my 1997 Blazer with 269 miles a thousand miles. install after dropping pan and old filter. Fixed my 1-2 stuttering or "dudda-dudda-dudda" when trying to switch from 1-2. The 3-4 solenoid brought my 4th gear overdrive back, so now I'm getting the mpg the Blazer was supposed to be getting. I'd recommend doing both since you've dropped a pot. It's very simple: 1) pull out the wire holder, 2) pull out the old magnet, 3) insert the new one, 4) press the holder.
