I bought this recorder because this page says "ease of use". I didn't find anything easy about it. I spent over an hour switching between the recorder and "manual controls". The fact that the instructions are in roughly 3 dot font doesn't help. After some test entries I tried to delete them. Even if I pressed enough keys to get to that menu, I was never able to delete the file. The display doesn't exactly make it easy for you. It's half an inch wide and about 5/8 inch high, and some of the messages are too wide for display. In particular, I received a few error messages, but the whole message didn't fit and just stayed on the screen. on the screen for about half a second. One thing that adds to the complexity is the need to mess with the music menus/controls. The sound quality of the recorder's speakers is very poor, so it's hard to imagine anyone wanting to listen to music on it. You should leave it and simplify the device. That being said, when you hook it up to your computer and figure out how to get something to play vinyl, the sound quality is pretty good. I never got Windows Media Player to play them, but the file manager I use has a preview function that can play them, and I was able to use it to delete test recordings as well.
