Was surprised to see so many positive reviews for this device. If you look at the product photos you can see that the connector is raised where the prongs are. So when you plug it into an outlet instead of pressing it against the wall, there's a gap between the rest of the very large switch. and power plug, as well as in the immediate vicinity of the pins. This will prevent the switch from snapping into the outlet. Instead, it wobbles and tilts under the weight of the bulb, protruding halfway from the socket and threatening to detach entirely at the slightest provocation. It's not safe at all, which seems dangerous and can easily cause the whole thing to fall to the ground and shatter the lightbulb. I am returning the device and I do not advise anyone to waste their time and money on it.
