Story Time! The reason I bought this tent is because it was my first time going on a weekend camping trip with friends and I absolutely hated sleeping on the ground. Don't get me wrong, I love the outdoors and don't mind getting dirty, but when it's time for bed I need to be comfortable. A lot of them made fun of my car tent, but guess who's laughing? I sleep above ground like a fat baby in a cosy, sheltered metal container with a detachable tent, rather than waking up to an empty mattress, rocks banging into my back, cold feet and wild animals sniffing your tent. Oh, did I mention how quick and easy it is to put on and take off? I bought this Hasika tent for my 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback and it fits perfectly. Simply slide it over the opened tailgate, rear bumper and attach the elastic straps to your liking. My car is shaped like a small egg so the top has to be tied through my doors with elastic cords/ropes to hold it in place. I read somewhere that people buy magnetic strips to really seal the awning around the car, so that's another option 🤷🏻‍♀️ However, I think someone with a slightly bigger car won't have this problem! I was too lazy to lower my back seat and take photos inside (sorry) but I'm already very confident that this item will do what I paid for. I will upload better photos when I go camping again!
