Review on πŸ“± Desview Authorized Desview T2 Phone Teleprompter & Protective Cover: Portable Kit with Beam Split 70/30 Glass, Remote Control, and Phone Camera Compatibility by Robert Gilbert

Works well, requires attachment for use with SONY ZV-1

Very good unit. It works well with the iPad mini. I have limited space. I have a small office with a desk, two monitors, a keyboard, a chair and a wall. So I mounted the teleprompter on a table stand between the keyboard and the monitor. The distance from my Sony camera to the front of the Desview hood is only 6-7 inches. (Also, the mini-iPad sticks out a bit further). I compared to the PrompterPeople Pocket CUE, which costs about twice as much. DESVIEW accommodates a larger tablet (up to a mini iPad) and comes with a Bluetooth remote control. I didn't see a clear advantage of the more expensive pocket cue. I am using DESVIEW with an unrelated software called PromptSmart which requires a board but allows voice speed control. The Sony ZV-1 is a popular camera, but it doesn't have filter rings. You will need a device called CAME TV 52MM ADAPTER (on Revain). Unfortunately, it costs about half as much as Desview or Parrot! But it works fine. The ring mount slides left and right to align the SONY LENS with the center line of the TELESUFTOR. (Please note that Came TV's left-right slider has several different mounting screw holes and you may need to move the mounting screw to a different hole than the one it was in when shipped.)

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
