Test before you go.

Luckily I checked it out before I went on holiday. First, as some others have mentioned, it needs AA, not AAA. Second, it doesn't come with instructions, but I figured out how to operate it as follows: There are two time modes: 12-hour and 24-hour; while the factory default cycle is 12 hours. You can know the current sync mode by pressing the "Mode/Viewโ€ button. If the yellow indicator flashes three times, it means 12-hour mode. If the green indicator flashes three times, it means 24-hour mode. If you press the "Mode/View" button for 3 seconds, the timing mode changes once, the corresponding indicator light flashes 3 times; meanwhile the timer automatically returns to zero. When you press the start button, the ADF will forcibly rotate during the cycle and feed once. Meanwhile, the timer will automatically return to zero and start counting from zero. However, the sync mode does not change. Users are advised to replace the batteries every six months. For those who want to feed at a specific time, you need to insert the batteries at the time you want the fish to feed and the time will start. from now on (when the power is turned on). It is not possible to set the time as it is not digital and has no buttons for it. I tested it manually and at 12pm and it kept spinning non-stop, emptying all the food. I saved our fish by looking at it. Ironically, the sticker says LOL 2018 Approved by QA. Stay away from this garbage.
