As stated in another review. apply (max bb size, don't apply too much) wipe vigorously/thoroughly with a cloth (toilet works) then wipe thoroughly with a clean cloth or cloth (I had to switch to a clean spot of cloth 2 or 3 times on each lens ). I found that rinsing after use as directed completely negated the effectiveness of the product. But when I followed the steps above, it worked for my ski goggles in combination with a ski mask (compulsory today) and prescription glasses under the goggles. Anyone who has ridden with this attachment knows that this is the right combination for instant fogging. This didn't completely eliminate fogging, but it did reduce it, and the fog seemed to dissipate much faster. Think of it almost like driving with very intermittent windshield wipers. There isn't enough blur in your field of view to pose a problem and I'm not the best skier so vision is key. Time will tell how long this lasts, I wouldn't be surprised if I have to reapply next time I'm away, but it's certainly better than nothing. Comparable products seem to have the same low ratings/reviews as this one. I'm just glad it worked for me, even if the application process isn't spray and forget and may have to be reapplied day after day. Skin without sight is simply not an option!
