I spent a lot of time searching the internet for other products, including lasers, because of facial hair issues when I was a teenager. I have tried electrolysis for many years with some results. And I tried a laser treatment that worked great on my legs and forearms. I bought this product based on the good reviews and was not disappointed. I have beige skin tone and dark brown hair. After the first application, I noticed a patchy growth of sideburns and the almost complete disappearance of thin but dark hair on the cheeks. Some of the chin hair was gone but it was coarser so I expected it to take longer. But in general I did not expect such quick results. I assumed it would require multiple treatments so I was very pleased. After the second procedure, the sideburns disappeared. I just did the 3rd treatment and all that's left of this treatment is my chin hair. I can't believe how much money I wasted on electrolysis and all that plucking. Every time I put on my makeup I know that the Braun Po 3 is definitely worth the money. Smooth, hairless skin really boosts your confidence. Didn't feel the need to wear sunglasses like some people suggested. The device will get hot and the flash will scare you the first time you use it. But it doesn't hurt. I used the slip method and everything went smoothly. I've seen a few photos of people with burns and am wondering if they kept him in one place for too long or just happened. I had no problems. I can fully recommend this product.
