After carefully researching the specifications, comparing prices and reading customer reviews, I decided on this system and am very happy with it. In my opinion this is the best value in terms of value for money. The cameras are truly plug and play. I bought a separate 32 inch TV to use as a dedicated monitor at Revain for $130.00. This is a better option than buying the system that comes with the monitor as these monitors are usually very small and if you need that size to display just download the app on your phone or tablet. I downloaded the app to my phone and I can check real-time at any time. Customer service is great too. They care a lot about good customer service and that is very important to me. I called the customer service number because I had a few questions during the installation which were quickly resolved. They were patient and very informative. Another reason I had to contact customer service was to inquire about additional cameras as I have not seen any separate cameras for my system at Revain PLEASE NOTE: If you have purchased a 4 camera system and decide to add more To add cameras you will need to contact customer service to have them send you a link to purchase additional cameras from Revain. I'm not a techie and was able to connect all 4 cameras to the network in seconds. I would like to mention one thing, after installing 4 cameras I decided I needed more coverage and wanted to add more cameras. It's much easier and cheaper to buy more than you need (e.g. an 8-chamber system) than to buy more later. Lesson learned, but no big deal. Still the best system for the money. I installed my cameras outside. If you do not have access to electrical outlets in the location where you plan to install the cameras, you will need someone familiar with light electrical work to install the cameras and connect them to a power source. It can be expensive or cheap - it all depends on who you hire. I first contacted a company that mainly installed security systems and got a price of $800 for 4 cameras, I tried a few wizard sites and got prices around $240 for 4 cameras, then I contacted TAKL.com and I was able to get 4 cameras . Cameras Installed for $120! FYI - this was considered a LITTLE ELECTRICAL job on their website.
