All my life I've watched my mom put on this super thin self-adhesive UV protection film and I thought it was hilarious. Sure, maybe it worked, but it was a chore and a total mess once installed with bubbles and wrinkles. No way would I ever do that. So when I got a house with windows that let in the full morning and evening sun, I thought of blackout curtains and hid in the dark for 4 months every year. Instead I found this! This is a thick film that does not wrinkle. No glue so very easy to remove with water and dish soap solution (use plenty). Bubbles come out easily with a small squeegee. This is an instant difference in warmth and glare in my room. I installed this glass and immediately ordered more for my other windows.
