I wanted to buy the 10th generation earlier a month ago when they started to appear, but the motherboard I wanted was not there at first, or under the order with a 2nd overpayment and an incomprehensible waiting period due to global quarantine. Then they came "my" boards by the piece to just a few points in the city and quickly left on the same day! And I didn't get to buy them. Therefore, the order already placed (at that time the 10500 BOX processor) was canceled and I had to wait 2 weeks until the required ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI) motherboard finally appeared. But since the next batch was also limited, at first I quickly bought out the motherboard (I managed it! Because they quickly sold out again in 1 day) and already bought the processor with confidence. In general, I wanted 10700K for this motherboard, but they left at attractive prices, and I didn’t want to take anything with a large overpayment, so I spat and took the most “popular” option. If I then assemble the 2nd system, it's still ated. I also considered 10600K - but according to the reviews, it did not go far from 10400-10600 and did not see the point in it, if you take something more, then it's better to immediately 10700/K. But they are still at least 1.5 times more expensive. So let's wait for 10400! I plan to "overclock" it within the allowable heat packs on the Z490. If so, I'll add a review.
