Not very bright in garlands
They were very thin compared to photos and not bright enough. They weren't easy to bend into the shapes they were supposed to be. We used them to line our patio and wanted something that was easy to see. They were very dark. Most frustratingly, two of the three threads changed pattern each time they were spawned and had to be discarded. They did not keep their memory as has been said.
