I bought this to repair an old molding on our old trailer. At first I was a bit disappointed as it looked very flimsy, but it worked really well. I think it's probably the same thickness as the original, but since it's new and I installed it on a hot day, it was pretty warm on its own and very flexible! I started installing it and immediately liked how it was done. ! It is easy to install and fits very well in the existing track. It covers the screw heads well and looks good. I'm glad I bought two coils (and I need to buy more) as I plan on replacing even more than I had planned as it really makes the old stuff stand out! Excellent value for money and easy installation. Just make sure you seal and (re)install the end clips to hold them in place.
