This is a great container for school aged kids packing lunch. We bought three and have been happy with the performance after more than a year of use. The lid closes tightly and does not leak. The bowl shape holds 2.5 cups of dry cereal, fruit or other food like leftovers. If your kids are in a period of rapid growth like mine, they'll appreciate the large capacity for food. To reheat food, simply blow the lid through the flap (see fig. 1), place in the microwave, leave on for about a minute and it's ready to eat. My kids wipe it off with a paper towel and wash it when they get home. The company doesn't let you choose your colour, so you get what they send you from their range - we were lucky we got a red, blue and green container (see fig 2). You can store food at room temperature in the bowl, freezer and microwave. Despite their size, these bowls fit comfortably in standard lunch boxes. The Sistema Noodle Bowl is a large, attractive and versatile food container.
