A Few Caves About Coffee Makers

I have mixed feelings about this coffee maker. Once you set the dry coffee measurement to your liking, you'll be rewarded with a good cup of coffee. However, when you're not camping and your sink doesn't have a drain, getting rid of crumbly, wet coffee grounds and rinsing your coffee maker can be a challenge. Due to the design of the machine, the used coffee grounds are immersed in liquid to a depth of 2.5 cm at the bottom of the machine. I don't want to pour coffee sludge down a regular sink. And when I dump the set in the bin, I want to drain the excess liquid first. To drain the set I bought a Revain '4' RSVP International 4 Cone Filter. Wet soil will fill this 4" strainer almost to the brim so don't buy anything smaller. If you decide to go with another brand decide make sure it's fine mesh. The first time I used a coffee maker the dip was smooth and even. The second time I used the machine the plunger got stuck - and I mean really got stuck - on about one Third of the way down.. I'm a grown male and it took me three minutes of pushing and pulling and gasping to get the plunger all the way down.As I'm not the first to comment on this particular crash, would be It is interesting to know what causes it and if there is a way to avoid it (hot coffee) in the machine before dispensing.Turning the piston when it is time to empty the coffee grounds is not easy. The flip -Top cap l It is easy to unscrew, but the piston requires some force to unscrew. I bought Kohipress specifically for travel. Like I said, it makes a good cup of coffee, but so does the Aeropress. In the AeroPress, the ground coffee is pressed into a dense, compact cork, eliminating the need to strain the wet grounds. Overall, the AeroPress is a simpler device and it's easier for me to use on the go.
